Danny Chew is one of the most celebrated long-distance cyclists in the United States. He’s won Race Across America multiple times and even founded the Dirty Dozen—a popular bike race up the steepest hills in his hometown of Pittsburgh. For years, Chew has been working toward his ultimate goal of logging one million miles on a bike; but his life took a tragic turn when an accident left him without the use of his legs.
